Wreath of Lights for 2009 ©2009 Jeff Blaylock

‘Tis the Season. This evening, I built this year’s wreath of light, the signature feature of my annual Christmas light display. This year’s wreath took a little over 4 hours to complete, contains nearly 1,100 LED lights, and spans more than 8 feet. Most of the rest of this holiday weekend will be spent installing, hanging, stringing, stapling, and otherwise putting up Christmas lights.

While it is slightly larger and contains about 200 more lights than last year’s, the wreath is largely unchanged since its first appearance three years ago. Evolution of the wreath: 2008 (800+ lights) | 2007 (650+ lights) | 2006 (350 lights).
