The ruins of ranching operations are scattered throughout the park, particularly as one nears the Rio Grande, Terlingua Creek, Tornillo Creek, and other (usually) reliable sources of water. This ruin is located near the Terlingua Abaja backcountry campsite, just off the Old Maverick Road near the park's western boundary.
