Squaretop Mountain is called the most photographed peak in Wyoming, and it is certainly one of the state's most recognizable landmarks. Hikers headed up the Highline Trail from the Green River Lakes trailhead can mark their progress as it looms ever closer. This view greets hikers who have passed beyond the upper Green River Lake. From here. the trail winds in and out of the lodgepole forest that grows alongside the Green River all the way to its source. Also visible is The Bottle, an oddly shaped granite spire that resembles a Coke bottle. Its prominent bottle-cap summit is on the right.
